WRCR/Rockford College Alumni

Citing a need for space in lower Burpee Center, the college relocated WRCR to three rooms in the Lang Health Center.
The WRCR staff moved the station in January of 1985. The radio station was at the far end of the building as seen from this view. There was an outside stairway at the end of the building for staff access. The station remained there until it ceased operation at the end of the 1994 Spring semester. The Lang location is known as WRCR 4.0.

Unfortunately, we have not located many images of the Lang studios. The pictures in this gallery are all we have located so far. If you have copies of yearbooks or newspapers you would be willing to loan for scanning, please contact the webmaster. All originals will be returned to you. We're also looking for WRCR audio tapes.
