The late Brock Peters was on campus in 1965 when he paid a visit to the WRCR studios. He was at RC to participate in a two week festival called "Creativity and the Negro" organized by Knox Fowler. Other participants included: Rev. Gary Davis, Bobby Short, Langston Hughes, Gwendolyn Brooks, William Warfield, African musician Olatunj, and Big Joe Williams.
